It's as if all "burrs", or rough edges of distortion are removed from the sound, leaving a much cleaner more pristine window on the sound. I wasn't even aware that many of these distortions were present, until they were removed by Tsunami. Background also became much "blacker", with improved spatial cues. All this takes place with absolutely ZERO loss of any information or detail and sparkle. The list goes on & on... It just plain makes a system sound more musical - and closer to the live event.
